The Arts Council Summer Arts Program ended with a very successful camp in Allegan at the Griswold Auditorium August 12 – 16 (See photos). This was the third camp offered through this Council summer program. A free camp for 37 children was held in June at the Fennville District Library. Twenty-three campers enjoyed themselves at the Wayland V.F.W. at the end of July and a whopping 47 kids attended the Allegan camp. Our sincere thanks to personnel at these locales for providing free, clean space for our campers; to the volunteers and paid instructors and assistants, and to parents who consider art a fun part of their children’s education. It would be impossible for the Arts Council to sponsor these programs without you!
