A total of $4,515 was given to Allegan area students in the form of Scholarships to various summer camps for the arts. The recipients of Allegan Area Arts Council’s awards for 2018 fine arts spring and summer camps are pictured (from left in front) Abbigail Long of Fennville who is attending WMU Music camp for voice, Olivia Thorogood Williams of Allegan who is attending WMU Music camp for piano, Gabriella Cardosa of Hopkins who is attending Claire Minnis Vocal Arts Summer Studio in Grand Rapids for voice, and Legacy Marlette of Wayland who is attending Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for dance. In the back row starting from the left is Luke Obbink of Fennville who is attending Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for clarinet, Caleb Piersma of Otsego who is going to South Africa with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony for bassoon, and Colton Maccune of Fennville who is attending WMU Music Camp for voice.
