OPEN STUDIO CLASS WITH JOY RICHMOND
Wednesdays, weekly 1-4 $50 for 4 wks or $15 per drop in
All levels of experience are welcome. Class meets weekly. Participants explore their own various mediums - watercolor, oil painting, acrylic and pastels. There will be ongoing instruction in creating still life, composition, color theory, and painting techniques. Instruction and critique is provided as artists are encouraged to continue at their personal level.

BEGINNING DRAWING WITH TERI UTZ BERSÉE

If you've always wanted to take your drawings to a new level, or learn and start masterig traditional drawing techniques, this class is for you. He will give classroom and on-site demonstrations, working individually with each artist.

CAPTURING THE CHARACTER OF TREES
WITH RICHARD JORDAN

We relate to trees on an emotional level and how we paint them can either show their beauty and majesty, or leave them looking generic and uninspired. In this workshop, Richard will demonstrate his approach to painting trees and how you can give them life and a believable presence in your work.

EXPLORE THE RICH WORLD OF GOUACHE
WITH JOAN RICHMOND

This two-day workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore the versatile qualities of gouache. Gouache (pronounced "gwash") is a chroma-rich, water-based medium that lends itself to a wide range of possibilities for painting on paper with easy clean up. Attendees will investigate mixing colors from a limited palette, experiment with layers, and develop paintings in the studio. All levels of experience are welcome. Demonstrations, one-on-one instruction, and critiques will be included.

THE METHODS & ARTISTRY OF PLEIN AIR PAINTING
