The 9th Annual Allegan Art Hop was an evening full of camaraderie among Allegan neighbors, friends, and families. With streets lightly covered in snow, all ages were out and about enjoying the Art Hop. Horse drawn wagon rides were a huge hit and the trolley was busy taking people to artist locations as well. Many were able to share their Christmas wish list with the jolly old man at the new Allegan Chamber building location. Christmas music was playing in the streets as well as live musicians in several of our venues. There were over 40 artists participating at 23 different venues. What a wonderful time for everyone in the area brought to you by the collaboration among downtown businesses, City of Allegan and the Allegan Area Arts Council. Thanks to all who attended, and special thanks to the helpers, artists, and musicians. Everyone is looking forward to Art in the Garden on the second Saturday in April, and Art Hop 10 next year.
