Sassy Olive Mural

Here’s something cool to check out while you’re downtown shopping or walking. This makes a colorful backdrop for photos of graduations, birthdays, and engagements. Or, … just an all-around cool selfie. Landria Christman is the owner of Sassy Olive and last year she was up on scaffolding painting like crazy with her friend Lacey Schmitt. Lacey is a local artist who teaches classes at Design Street in Plainwell. Along with indoor and outdoor murals at The Sassy Olive, Lacey has also done murals at Island City Coffee and Riverbend Yoga in Plainwell. Landria says her mission is a very simple one. She wants to create something unique and happy with as many colors as possible. She wants to design something happy that people will want to come and see.
