Dina Ebeling
I am a lifelong SW Michigan artist. I love to experiment with color layers, textures and to mix media. I would describe my current work as abstract expressionism, trying to convey a feeling, a movement or rhythm.

I love all aspects of art. Because my degree from WMU is in creative arts and elementary education, I was able to use them both in my first grade classroom for many years. At the moment, my main focus is clay. For my inspirations, I take ideas from children's books and nature. You'll see many leaves, flowers and dragonflies in my work.
I have my own potter's wheel and kiln at home, where I enjoy the stability of cone 6 glazes. I also love working at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, where I enjoy the surprises coming out of their high fire and raku fire kilns. I also sell my work in their gift shop.

Sara Gambill Haveman
I was originally from Hillsdale, Michigan. In my youth much of my free time was spent at a nearby lake where I rode my bike or at our family lake property. I swam and boated and fished by the hour. My parents took us on northern Michigan vacations and sent me to week-long northern church camps. Those experiences, from summers long ago, have had a permanent influence with the subjects I choose to paint. I currently live on a small lake and have a cabin in Grayling MI.

I obtained a B.S. from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. I am retired from teaching high school Art in Plainwell, MI. I have enhanced my skills in workshops with state and nationally known artists. My work has received local awards and is held in public and private collections in several states.
